Real parents. Real stories. Real struggles. Real strategies.

During the first year of your baby’s life you’ll put them down for a nap or a bedtime more than 1,500 times, and yet it feels like the only advice given to new parents is “sleep when the baby sleeps”. Baby sleep is so important, not just for babies’ growth and development, but for us as parents to be functioning humans, returning to work and living our lives.

This podcast is on a mission to give voice to struggles and achievements as well as the tools, strategies, and resources that real parents have used to navigate technical challenges and emotional hurdles on their journey of getting their baby (toddler, or kiddo) to sleep through the night.

These parents have managed regressions, teething, illness, travel, daycare, different points of view on sleep, and more all while staying authentic to themselves. Through podcast interviews we explore what all other parents want to know: how did they do it?

Key Sleep Info

Did you know there are tons of evidence-based pieces of information that make understanding baby sleep way more straight forward? Our stories and how-to episodes explain what you need to know to understand the reality your little person is living in.

Reviewing All the Resources

From sleep consultants and classes, to the snoo, swaddles, and books, to cry-it-out vs. ferber, families share what did - and didn’t - work for them on their journey as they navigated sleeping, crib-to-bed transitions, room sharing, new siblings, and more.

Unique Issues

Sure, it was easy for your friend to get her baby to sleep through the night. But yours is teething, or has reflux, or was premature, or is a twin. Whatever you’re facing, another family has been there before you. Check out the episode notes for key issues in each family’s story.

Baby sleep is my new-parent love language.

When my son was born I thought we had a plan. A good plan! But oh-so-quickly we learned that we only had the tip of the iceberg of a plan, and it was time to iterate - fast. Lots of bleary eyed late-night googling and obsessive internet research made me realize that while there are tons of great sleep resources out there, finding them when you’re a tired, stressed new parent is easier said then done. Welcome to the Baby Sleep Podcast, where we share real stories and real strategies so busy parents can all get back to sleep.

Infant sleep is a journey, not a destination. Wherever you’re at, there’s always something to tweak or a change to prepare for.

The Baby Sleep Podcast is where parents come to share their story of what worked - and what didn’t - to get back to sleep after expanding their family.
